Are you serious? Has it really been since March since I gave you an update?!
My laziness and procrastination has officially reached a new level.
I am so sorry…my sincerest apologies to each of you for getting so behind on my blogs. I WILL do better!!!!!
Pretty hard to update everything that’s happened over the last 6 months….but here are a few nuggets:
NASCAR on Fox...
I wrapped up my 2nd season with NASCAR on Fox in June. I am so lucky to get to work with some of the best and brightest in sports television! I love my co-workers…and can’t wait to do it all over again in 2009. (See you in Daytona, guys)!
Of course, one of the highlights once again this year, was co-anchoring the Sprint Cup All-Star Race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in May. I was honored to get the call, for a second year, to sit alongside Jeff Hammond for Speed’s coverage of the million-dollar race!
Speaking of Speed...
I spent a good chunk of the summer and fall traveling…from my home in Pittsburgh to the racetrack for The Set Up, the pre-race show for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and from the racetrack to Speed’s Charlotte studios for The Speed Report on Sunday evenings. I’ll continue to host both programs until season’s end in November…so be sure to tune in!
Oh, did I mention my home?!
If you’ve read my past blogs, you know home renovation has been one of my biggest challenges this year. I’m happy to report we finally finished (most of) the major projects! Yeah!!!!
Best moment of my summer?
Having my sister, brother-in-law, niece, and nephew visit! It was a great week of trips, treats, and truly memorable moments with the kids.
Thank you to each of you for your patience….and for all of the emails! If you haven’t received a response yet, don’t worry…you will! I’m simply as slow with my emails as I am with my blogs! But I will be checking in with each of you to say hello!
In the meantime, be sure to tune in to the NCTS race in Talladega. In addition to hosting The Set Up, I think I’ll be joining Ray and Adam in the pits! I also have some new and exciting things coming up for the fall season.
Who knows…maybe I’ll actually write about them in next month’s blog?!
