Hi everyone! I’m so glad you’ve found my site. My original plan was to post an update each month, letting you know what’s happened in the last 30 days…and what’s coming up in the next 30. Well, here’s the first update…only about 5 months late! (I promise, I’ll try to do better)! But in the meantime….I guess I have a LOT to get you caught up on!

This year has already been a big one. In February, I started a new chapter in my professional career, as a pit reporter with the NASCAR on FOX family. It’s a group with whom I already felt familiar, as I’ve worked with many of the guys…Steve Byrnes, Larry Mac, and Jeff Hammond…back in the ‘ol Totally NASCAR days. So how was my first year with the network? Exhilarating! The highlight of the 2007 season for me was hosting the live broadcast of the All-Star Challenge in May. I had so much fun, and really have to thank the execs at Speed for giving me the opportunity. No word on whether I’ll get to do any more hosting for Fox/Speed’s Nextel Cup coverage…but I’m ready if the call comes!

Of course, I do get to wear my “anchor hat” throughout the year as host of the Craftsman Truck Series pre-race show on Speed. I love this show! And a big reason why…is the people. Everyone on the broadcast team is so passionate about the truck series. But it’s not only those of us telling the stories…it’s the people we’re talking about. That’s why the pre-race show is so cool…getting the chance to introduce the audience to new names while also telling new things about the familiar names. If you’ve never watched a truck race, you are definitely missing out! (Check us out over the next few weeks, and see what you think!)

Well…that’s all for now. Sorry it’s taken me so long to talk to all of you. But I really appreciate each of you logging on. And thank you so much for supporting me! I hope you enjoy my work, and continue to do so! As my best friend, Hollie, would say…Holla!

Best Wishes,
Krista
