Voda-Blog : California Dreamin'

Well, not exactly.

You see, the problem with the West Coast is the time change. There's NO WAY I can be "California Dreamin'" because it's nearly impossible to sleep...at least, not at regular hours.

I mean, it's 9:30pm saturday night....working on my notes for tomorrow's race...and i'm about to crash, but i'll be up at 4 a.m...wondering why i can't sleep!

From the hype we've seen and heard so far...it appears limiting the Fontana track to one race a year was the right move. Track executives say ticket sales are up. I hope they aren't just trying to save face! Looking forward to seeing a good crowd tomorrow!

I'll be covering one of the mid-sections of pit road tomorrow. Within my territory, Denny Hamlin and Regan Smith have looked good. Also, Clint Bowyer didn't qualify that well...but he was really happy with his car following today's final practice.

After Friday morning's workout with ultra-tough trainer, Jillian Michaels my brain is the only muscle in my body that is not hurting right now! Stay tuned for more pictures from our workout session on twitter and Facebook. I might even talk about how she yelled at me (I deserved it, though!) in my article on foxsports.com. I will be working on that before leaving for Martinsville.

Right now, it's time to cash in....after all, it's 1 a.m. on the East Coast! Maybe some "California dreamin'" might take place after all.
